Smart Converter Pro is a free online toolbox for everyday file jobs: converting an image to a different format, compressing a photo to an exact size, merging PDFs, turning a voice memo into an MP3, or converting kilograms to pounds. Why conversions run in your browser

Most online converters upload your file to a server, put it in a queue and make you wait for a download link. Wherever the web platform allows it, our tools work the other way around: the conversion engine runs inside your browser, so your file never leaves your device. That has two practical benefits — privacy, because there is nothing for us to store or leak, and speed, because there is no upload, no queue and no download round-trip. It also means most tools keep working on a slow connection once the page has loaded.

Every tool is free and we intend to keep it that way. The site is funded by advertising instead of subscriptions or paywalled “pro” features — that is the whole business model, plainly stated. We don't sell your files (for most tools we never even see them) and we don't require an account, an email address or a credit card.
