This policy explains what happens to your files and your data when you use Smart Converter Pro. The short version: most conversions run entirely in your browser so we never receive your files, we don't require an account, and the site is funded by ads rather than by your data.

Your files

Wherever technically possible, conversions are performed on your own device using in-browser engines (Canvas, WebAssembly and similar web technologies). For those tools your file is never uploaded anywhere — it stays on your computer or phone from start to finish, and closing the tab removes any trace of it.

A small number of conversions may need server-side processing. In those cases the file is used only to perform the conversion you requested and is automatically deleted from the server shortly after processing completes. We do not open, read, analyse or share the contents of your files, and we do not keep copies.

No accounts, no personal data required

You can use every tool without creating an account or telling us who you are. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details to convert a file. If you email us for support, we use your message and address only to reply to you.

Cookies and third parties

The site shows advertising served by Google AdSense, which is how we keep the tools free. Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads depending on your settings and region. You can control ad personalisation in Google's ad settings and read more in Google's advertising policy.

If analytics is enabled on the site, it is used in aggregate form only — page views, browser types, rough geography — to understand which tools are useful and where the site is slow. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. In practice we hold very little: for most visitors, nothing beyond standard short-lived server logs and the cookie behaviour described above. If you want to exercise any data right, or have any question about this policy, contact us and we will respond as quickly as we can.
